We're Back! Haven't posted in a while! . . .

It's been so long since I've posted (except for some scrapbook pages). No real good excuse except for living life! It seems it's still winter here in the north. April 14 today and we had some more snow flurries. 40°! We have had a few days, hit or miss, that we've been able to go for a walk or ride our new bike! This bike is a little confusing because when you pedal backwards, you stop! (you can click on the pictures to see them larger)

We finished up a third session at the Kaufman Center in Detroit in late March. Again we saw much progress in both expressive and receptive language. We took this month off from the driving but will be headed back the last week of April for another four week session. The swing is still a favored activity as well as working and playing with Miss Amber!

We spent four days at Grams Wheeler's house during spring break! We wore her out! The weather was uncooperative, so we couldn't go outside much. On the one nice-weather day we had, we headed to the Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo, only to find it still closed for the season! Bummer! So we had lunch in the park and then ice cream at our favorite stand! And an Easter Basket from Grams with playdough and the Happy Feet movie!

Then we had a really quiet Easter Sunday, basket and all.

So now we're back to the school routine, riding the bus and playing with the other children! And enjoying the video game that Grams Golden got Grace for Christmas (who enjoys it more, Daddy or Gracie?)

We have lots of fun stuff coming up, too. Next week I'm going to Detroit for 3 days for a scrapbook weekend. Then it's back to Kaufman April 23rd, Grams Golden is coming all the way from California to visit in May, and then in June we get to go see Cousins Jennifer and Katie (and hopefully Sara and Adam, too!) Then in late June Summer School starts for six weeks! Hopefully by then it will be warm enough to wear all of the cute crop pants Grams Wheeler is making!
