Wow! First Day of Pre-School, 2005 -

i can't believe how fast this precious child of ours is growing up! today i took her to the elementary school for her first day of pre-school! of course it was a mad last-minute rush to find an appropriate outfit (forecast was too warm for her new school clothes!), but we did it! when i asked grace to stand still for me to take a picture, for the first time ever, she did! maybe next time we'll work on the smile!









here we were headed into the school. this is obviously not a child who is afraid to spend the day in a new building and classroom! thank goodness a kind gentleman was holding the door open for her or she would have busted right through it! she didn't even look back to see if i was coming with her! she loves pulling her backpack!










and here she comes holding one of her teachers hand after her first 'day'. she had a good day and Karen tells me that they decided to put the backpack on her back to weigh her down a little! i guess she wore them out!
